Tazza: A Tried-and-True Favorite for Delicious Meals and Sweet Treats! Tazza has been my go-to spot for years, and it’s never let me down! Whether I’m craving breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I know I can count on them for a delicious meal every time. From the comfort of a casual lunch to a cozy dinner, Tazza always hits the mark. On a recent evening, my colleagues and I decided to order from Tazza, and I was reminded why I keep coming back. They have a wide variety of options, from fresh salads to flavorful brick oven pizzas. This time, I went for the mushroom pizza with spinach and ricotta, and it was perfection. The crispy crust paired with the right balance of toppings made it an ultimate comfort food experience. For dessert, I can’t resist Tazza’s gelato selection and various sweet treats. I went for the mango mousse cake paired with a scoop of their mango gelato—it was a tropical delight that hit all the right notes. What I love about Tazza is that it’s not just about the food—there’s plenty of seating both indoors and on the charming outdoor patio. The vibe is casual yet inviting, perfect for any occasion. Plus, Tazza offers gluten-free and vegan options, so it’s a great choice for all dietary preferences. Another huge plus is the ability to schedule orders for pick-up in advance. This feature has saved me countless times when I’ve been in a rush but still craving great food. ⏰ All in all, Tazza is a consistent favorite with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and options for everyone. A hidden gem in DC, this cafe and pizzeria is worth walking to (or taking the shuttle from Foggy Bottom metro to Kennedy Center and walking across the street) to enjoy the fantastic sandwiches (chicken salad is superb), wood fired pizzas, and homemade gelato. Recommend calling to book a table during winter if you're planning dinner, as the indoor area can fill up in the pre theater period of 5 to 7pm.

We had just one experience so far, but I really enjoyed it. Tazza is an amazing little casual eatery in the shadow of the Watergate in DC with indoor and outdoor seating. Many Mediterranean dishes and artisan pizzas await the more developed palettes. Meanwhile, fresh, simple pizzas are available for those that prefer to keep it basic. My son loved his pepperoni pizza, while I devoured my Med pizza. Tons of flavors, super fresh tasting ingredients, and cooked perfectly. Odd choice, but I paired my pizza with a nicely executed latte. Cannot wait to try some of the entrees, because wowowow they looked amazing on the tables of other patrons. Our table was a little dirty when we sat down, otherwise everything was great. An open piano drew a child that entertained the crowd for 30m or so. There were many, many gorgeous looking desserts that we will have to dig into another time. Overall a very enjoyable experience and looking forward to going back!

Got the pizza and a soup. Both were so fresh and best pizza that I liked in DC. Beautiful location.

This place was perfect for what we needed prior to seeing a show at the Kennedy Center! It is super convenient and right across the street. You order at a counter and they bring the food to your table. Many choices and everything we got was great! The staff was so friendly as well.

Very convenient and nice location to get a bite by the Kennedy Center. Delicious food and friendly helpful staff! Food arrived hot and delicious in a really quick turnaround. Lots of seating available both indoor and outdoor. Would highly recommend if your hungry before a show or just in the area.

I love coming to this place! I was first brought here years ago and I've been coming almost 1-3 times a week. They have such a respectful crew and an amazing manager that greets me every time I come and even knows my name! The food is just as good and I love the atmosphere. I definitely recommend the falafel, margarita pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, gelato, etc.
